YES, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, has provided instructions for candidates who have registered for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) optional Mock-UTME, which is scheduled for Thursday, 30 March 2023. The notification slips for the examination will be available for printing from Thursday, 23rd March 2023. According to Fabian Benjamin, the Head of Public Affairs and Protocol at JAMB, candidates who have indicated interest in taking the mock examination should visit, click on 2023 Mock-UTME on the menu button, and enter their Registration Number to print their slips.

The notification slip will contain the candidates’ Registration Number, Venue, Date, and Time of the Examination, which will enable them to locate their centers easily before the examination. Candidates are also advised to arrive at their centers one hour before the examination for biometric verification. JAMB has reiterated that the scheduled commencement time for the examination is very important, and that it has zero tolerance for examination malpractice.

Additionally, candidates are warned against bringing prohibited items such as wristwatches, calculators, flash drives, phones, and other devices into the examination halls. Furthermore, they are advised to avoid applying “laale” to their hands to create fancied drawings and paintings, as this could interfere with the whorls of their fingers and impede biometric verification.
