Available fields of study include Engineering, Geology, Agriculture, Sciences, Mathematics, Environmental Sciences, Sports, Law, Social Sciences, Biotechnology, Architecture, Medicine, Pilot Engineering, and Neurology.
  • Postgraduate Studies: For postgraduate aspirants, the scholarship extends to Russia (for those with a first degree from Russia), China, Hungary, Serbia, and Romania, covering all fields of study.

Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate Scholarships

  • Applicants must have a minimum of Seven (7) Distinctions (As & Bs) in WASSCE/WAEC (May/June) in subjects relevant to their chosen field, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Certificates should be no more than two (2) years old (2022 & 2023) for non-African countries and one year old (2023) for African countries.
  • Age limit: 17 to 20 years.

Postgraduate Scholarships

  • Applicants must hold a First Degree with 1st Class or at least 2nd Class Upper Division.
  • Completion of the NYSC Programme is mandatory.
  • Age limit: 35 years for Masters and 40 years for Ph.D.

General Notes

  • Applicants for scholarships in BEA countries, where English is not the primary language, should be prepared to undertake a mandatory one-year foreign language course in the chosen country, which will serve as the standard medium of instruction.
  • For Hungarian Scholarship applicants, the option to apply for up to two fields of study is available in order of preference.
