The JAMB management made this information public when he decided to speak in FCT Abuja at the 11th seminar of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

The Registrar also disclosed that the aptitude test was different from the achievement test, adding this and we quote him directly:

“Achievement test is what we are doing now. We have a syllabus.”

Prof, Ojerinde also said that JAMB had secured up to 375 centres for next year’s UTME, adding that the federal government was planning to give the board 109 additional centres.

He also went on to note that last year, JAMB used 156 centers to conduct the UTME, but this year, it’s more different and the centers are completely CBT.

Ojerinde also said that in the near future, JAMB would use the Iris of the eye to verify candidates, to make things easier for the kids to register.

He also said and we quote him:

“In less than two years time from now, in every state and local government in Nigeria, there will be full of centers. Very soon, UTME examinations will be done individually between January and December,”

The Registrar went on to say that the forum derived its legal framework from section 6 (b-f) of the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Act 2000, which empowers the commission to prevent corruption through system studies and reviews of government agencies.

More details about this will be coming to you soon through our platform.
