Latest updates on Jamb

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board so far, has made it known that over 92,490 candidates has registered for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examinations, 67,328 registered for the optional mock examination. The board made this known via their weekly bulletin publications.

In a review regarding registration fees, the board stated that due to the mock exam, two e-pins were generated and made available for purchase. Candidates who indicated interest in the mock examination during registration paid 6700 naira, without the mock exam, candidates paid 5700 naira while Direct Entry (DE) paid 4700 naira.

The board went ahead to make further decisions such as:

-Examinations will take place an hour after the scheduled commencement time

-Exam sessions affected by technical problems from Jamb will be rescheduled and the new dates will be dully communicated to the affected candidates.

-Candidates will not be allowed to spend less than one hour from the start of the exam to submission.

-Late commencement or early departure from the examination hall can jeopardise the conduct of the examination by giving some candidates undue advantage over their contemporaries taking the examination.
